摘要: Access-based product-service systems (AB-PSS) have the potential to lower environmental impacts. Currently, a lack of consumer acceptance and, consequently, low adoption levels AB-PSS are challenges preventing realisation their sustainability potential. This study proposes temporary product customisation barriers for AB-PSS. We investigated whether through modifying appearance an easily changeable attribute typical product, and thereby changing personality, could improve while limiting impact on sustainability. To explore this, 3 × 1 between-group design experiment was conducted with consumers who familiar offerings similar we tested.
