The Strange Stories test--a replication study of children and adolescents with Asperger syndrome.

摘要: The aim of the present study was to assess ability 21 children and adolescents with Asperger syndrome (AS) normal intelligence infer mental states in a story context using Happe's Strange Stories test. participants AS group were compared an age-matched control (N=20) normally developing on test social understanding. material comprised communication such as Pretence, Joke, Lie, White Figure Speech, Misunderstanding, Persuasion, Irony, Double Bluff Contrary Emotions, Appearance/Reality Forgetting. As controls, performed less well these tasks, answered fewer correct state inferences, but physical task.
