Finding top quarks with shower deconstruction

摘要: We develop a new method for tagging jets produced by hadronically decaying top quarks. The is an application of shower deconstruction, maximum information approach that was previously applied to identifying Higgs bosons decay bb¯. tag observed jet as based on cut calculated variable χ approximation the ratio likelihood would have structure nontop QCD this structure. find deconstruction tagger can perform better in discriminating boosted quark from than other publicly available algorithms.
