摘要: Multiple-scale averaging is applied to the nonlinear Schrodinger equation with rapidly varying coefficients, and use results analyze pulse propagation in an optical fiber when a periodic dispersion map employed. The effects of loss repeated amplification are taken into account by coordinate transformation relate dynamics lossy fibers that equivalent lossless fibers. Second-order leads general evolution applicable both return-to-zero (soliton) non-return-to-zero encoding schemes. resulting then specific case solitons, asymptotic theory for developed. Based upon theory, simple effective design two-step maps advantageous wavelength-division-multiplexed soliton transmission proposed. Theuse these specifically designed allows simultaneous minimization dispersive radiation several different channels.
