摘要: Abstract The distribution of substance P (SP) binding sites in guinea-pig airway was examined by vitro autoradiography with tritium and iodine-labeled SP. Specific SP were most abundant tracheobronchial smooth muscle but also detected the mucosa/submucosa. Binding within mucosa/submucosa especially high region glands. to cartilage negligible. Tritium-labeled bound non-specifically cartilage. These observations are consistent proposed effects SP-containing afferent nerves on resistance vascular permeability. localization specific suggests that may affect exocrine glands respiratory tract.
