Isotope shift in the Ca I resonance line and changes in mean-square nuclear charge radii of the stable Ca isotopes

摘要: The isotope shift of all stable Ca isotopes was studied in the I resonance line. Enriched were used an atomic beam, passing through center a spherical Fabry-Perot interferometer. measured shifts separated into mass and field by comparing optical with δ〈r2〉 values derived from recent muonic x-ray measurements. results are discussed together known data on intercombination line Hartree-Fock calculations. following mean obtained for change nuclear charge distribution [fm2]∶ [40, 42] 0.23(3); 43] 0.13(3); 44] 0.28(4); 46] 0.14(7); 48] 0.00(2).
