Lenticular‐Lens‐Based Colored Antiglare Dashboard Surfaces

摘要: All current vehicle dashboards are black in order to prevent any veiling glare that interferes safe driving. Here, the authors report on a novel design of surface can impart color dashboard and does not cause driver. This is made possible by covering substrate with alternating absorber/colored stripes specially designed lenticular lens arrays, where reflected light rays controlled out range while at same time create visual colors drivers. As an experimental demonstration, 3.5 cm2 square sample fabricated imprinting method. The presented approach provides new application lenses be potentially applied embellish vehicles' interiors. Due small pitches (≈50 µm) lenses, proposed method even extended for displays high resolutions if integrating active devices.
