摘要: Surface photometry of disk galaxies at 2 μm gives a much better indication the mass distribution in their than that obtained from visual bands which are dominated by dust extinction and population effects. Perturbations such systems (e.g. spiral patterns) can yield information on dynamic state. Procedures for extracting analyzing parameters pattern ordinary discussed using K′ band photometry. General quantities strength shape these perturbations related to possible location major resonances galaxies. Finally, features located (B-K′) maps compared perturbation derived near-IR.
