摘要: Fractures at the femoral neck play an important role in morbidity and mortality among older adults. Understanding loading environment is a crucial factor for reducing incidence of fracture this site. In study, stresses on during stair ascent descent were estimated. These also compared to peak from internal hip moments. Five male five female adult subjects performed 5 successful trials same number with 3-step staircase. Motion force data collected. Inverse dynamics was used calculate 3-D joint moments reaction forces hip, knee ankle joints right leg. Musculoskeletal model static optimization muscle forces, estimate midpoint neck. A standardized elliptical bone structure model. Differences assessed by dependent t-tests (p < .05). The extensor moment significantly greater as = .001). 1 tensile stress increased superior site condition 0.005), but 2 showed no significant difference between .098). Both compressive inferior differences (1 peak: p =.105; .071). Conclusions
