摘要: Although the first attempts to apply electrolyzed aqueous solutions for water disinfection were performed in Russia late nineteenth century, deficiencies construction of electrolyzers and stability electrodes did not allow their broad practical use. The developments technology design led applications former USSR starting from 1960s. At present, this is being developed numerous countries around world. It reflected an increased number publications peer-reviewed journals other information sources. Moreover, a companies established pursue commercialization technology. possibility use as power disinfectants potable swimming pools, bactericidal agents sterilization living tissues, materials, medical food processing equipment, etc. have been demonstrated various trials. However, broader application hindered by lack profound theoretical experimental studies production electroactivated mechanisms activity. In particular, interrelation between technological constructional characteristics apparatus functional properties produced most poorly understood. We offer array figures-of-merit allowing fair comparison different design.
