Effects of slow spatial variations on dissipative structures

摘要: Abstract The influence on a reaction-diffusion system of slow spatial variations possessing minimum is analyzed. We show that local nonuniform steady states or phase gradient waves may be generated. Their onset studied using two-scaling approach.
