摘要: Saliva was obtained from patients receiving treatment with fixed orthodontic appliances. One saliva sample taken without appliances, and another at least 3 weeks after placement. In some samples were also immediately insertion of the appliance. Nickel iron quantified by electrothermal atomic absorption spectroscopy. There a large scatter in results. No statistically significant differences found either concentrations or absolute masses nickel appliances those when had been mouth for weeks. For placement appliance, there increase both iron. It thus seems that is high initial release metals, effect diminishes time.
