摘要: A phase diversity detection method is described for compensating polarization mode dispersion (PMD) in optical fiber at 10 Gb/s. The PMD distorted received signal separated into its two constituent principal states of (PSP) by maximizing the measured difference between pseudorandom data streams. inferred from and streams are resynchronized introducing appropriate delay/advance their respective paths prior to merging a combiner. source specially constructed three-sectioned maintaining that provides controlled amount range 1.6-42 ps.
