摘要: Abstract Two inertial confinement fusion reactor designs based upon ‘gas protection’ of the first wall from pellet debris and X-rays are reviewed. These laser design, SOLASE, a light ion beam cavity study conducted at University Wisconsin in collaboration with Sandia Laboratory. The dynamics low pressure noble gas (xenon) for high (argon) LIB computed. Low gases appear to release explosion energy radiation pulse that is too short acceptable response. same characteristic true cavity. This leads future investigation mixtures where provides heat capacity small concentration impurity material sufficient opacity reduce release.
