摘要: Are chance zero events possible? David Lewis thought not. He and others have proposed replacing chances by nonzero but infinitesimal in order that such might be constructed as possible. I examine the details of a number models aiming to accomplish this conclude they don’t work, ending with pessimistic assessment prospects for program.
