Design, setting, participants Data from prospectively collected German OPP were retrospectively analyzed. dataset included patients with history taking one or both substances (n = 26 821). Outcome measurements statistical analysis ED baseline characteristics derived medical questionnaires PDE5i prescriptions between May 2019 2020. Order behavior was analyzed in who ordered time. We applied Kruskal-Wallis tests, χ² fisher’s exact tests analysis. Results limitations Baseline comparable PDE5is median age 49 yr (sildenafil [interquartile range {IQR} 38–57]; [IQR 39–56]), body mass index (BMI) 26 kg/m² 24.54–29.03]; 24.49–28.69]), onset time >12 mo [87%]; [88%]), presence morning erections [62%]; [61%]). increased significantly 30% (first order) 80% (last had already tested drugs. Patients ≤40 yr, BMI ≤25 kg/m², sustained preferred Conclusions Using database information an OPP, shown PDE5is. particularly pronounced erections. A well-managed can be research on more complex health services. Patient summary Analysis platforms provide benefit identifying young treatment-naive early-stage disease, which highlighted by fact that about two-thirds our still maintained spontaneous once developed this drug.
