摘要: Modified nucleotides possessing diverse chemical structures are universally present in all cell RNAs. Their formation is a posttranscriptional process catalyzed by various RNA modification enzymes. Despite the large body of data concerning localization modified different RNAs, enzymes involved their biosynthesis remain largely unknown. In this review we discuss recent achievements application sequence homology approach to searching for and identifying such as RNA-pseudouridine synthases, RNA-methyltransferases, RNA-inosine synthases (adenosine deaminases).
