摘要: Abstract This two-part article examines the behaviour of aluminium alloy–glass fibre-reinforced polypropylene-based fibre–metal laminates (FMLs) subjected to localised explosive blast loading. Part I presents observations from experiments on samples varying thickness and material distribution, investigates influence stacking configuration. extensive study panels which have between two five layers aluminium, up eight plies composite each pair layers. Diamond cross-shaped back face damage is observed varies according panel thickness. Pitting, global displacement ring buckling front are also discerned. Some related wave propagation effects. II reports a quantitative analysis experimental data. Expressed in terms non-dimensional parameters, displacements fall within one plate linear trend line.
