摘要: Because of appreciable increases in the number participants, injuries resulting from girls' interscholastic athletic activities have become a concern for school administrators and medical care providers. Four high programs were prospectively studied two years. Specially trained trainers placed at each examined injured athlete collected epidemiologic data. The 870 participant-seasons nine sports resulted 192 injuries. Three times more occurred practices than competitive events. Although one third required physician's services, majority (59%) had returned to full activity within week injury.
