摘要: Among several functions, the vascular endothelium, which envelops circulating blood in a continuous monolayer, contributes to control of tone by releasing compounds that mediate contraction or relaxation underlying smooth muscle [1–3]. The endothelium synthesizes autocrine and paracrine substances such as, on one hand, prostacyclin, endothelium-derived relaxing factor (now characterized as simple gas nitric oxide (NO) closely related compound) [4, 5], hyperpolarizing promote vasodilation, other endothelin(s) contracting (presumably prostaglandin H2) vasoconstriction
