摘要: Abstract Measurements of radon exhalation for a total 50 selected samples construction materials used in Saudi Arabia were taken using gas analyzer. These included sand, aggregate, cement, gypsum, hydrated lime, ceramics and granite. It was found that the granite main source emanations. A 32 local imported tested. rates per unit area from these varied not detectable to 10.6 Bq m −2  h −1 with an average 1.3 Bq m . The linear correlation coefficient between emanated radium content 0.92. normalized 2.0 cm thick 0.068 (Bq m )/(Bq kg ) 0.030 ). emanation be 21% concentration. Therefore, can indoor as well external γ -radiation uranium decay series.
