Postimperialism and development in Thailand

摘要: Abstract This article examines postimperialist claims that foreign investment provides opportunities for local capitalists in less-developed countries to strengthen themselves economically. Its focus is the Thai textile industry. The complementarities between investors and capitalists, kinds of disputes which have emerged them, why been successful these disputes. While finding support hypotheses, also addresses weaknesses postimperialism suggests directions future research. One role resolving industry-wide collective action problems must be settled insure continued rapid economic growth Thailand.
