摘要: Abstract The majority of the roundwood processed by highly concentrated forest products industry in Finland is supplied non-industrial private owners (NIPF). industry's heavy reliance on NIPF supplies and owners’ high dependency for revenue motivated this study spatial fibre flows regional markets. To describe direction magnitude these we estimate a mill-specific timber demand equation. This empirical model can be used as benchmark identifying inefficiencies wood procurement procedures. expands theoretical literature increasing resolution estimates.
