摘要: Abstract. Marine radar is a tool widely used in the study of bird migration, but most cases it cannot identify detected objects to species. For this reason airspeed as one main criteria separate birdlike from insectlike targets, criterion has not been tested outside temperate regions where was developed. We theoretical approach for calculating minimum-power speeds (Vmp) and maximum-range (Vmr) birds insects estimate an interval airspeeds which appropriate value can be selected propose based on flight speed Isthmus Tehuantepec southern Mexico.
