摘要: A promising method for obtaining sterically and chemically stable nano zero valent iron (nZVI) suspensions is the use of green tea (GT) extract synthesis nanoparticles. However, stability this suspension when delivered in subsurface depends highly on specific geochemistry soil material. Current work was focused studying fate nZVI (GT-nZVI) contact with calcareous soils, which are typical many relatively arid areas. The experimental involved characterisation GT-nZVI implementation column tests using mixtures quartz sand natural soil. results indicated that mobility directly related to progress neutralization reactions between acidic GT calcite. Calcite neutralizes causes precipitation aquatic Fe(III) form ferric hydroxides. ZVI nanoparticles attached solid hydroxides, thus they removed from fluid phase.
