摘要: Objective We have recently proposed new diagnostic criteria for high-grade non-small cell neuroendocrine carcinoma, i.e. possible large in biopsy specimens and started a clinicopathological comparative study of carcinomas an advanced stage. This aimed to elucidate the usefulness our inoperable carcinoma know true incidence among lung cancers. Methods reviewed all cancer lesions (1040 specimens) obtained by transbronchial biopsies hospital from 2002 2009 selected 38 that satisfied carcinoma. All cases were clinicopathologically investigated precisely studied their morphological characteristics. Results Clinicopathological information about was very similar characteristics reported. Of cases, six at Stage I, II or IIIA, underwent surgery, diagnosis confirmed be using surgical tumor specimens. In specimens, features morphology such as organoid nesting, peripheral palisading rosette formation not frequent histological majority cells contained nuclei with fine chromatin pattern. Mitoses difficult find; however, immunohistochemical Ki-67/MIB1 labeling indices quite useful evaluating proliferative activity, which ranged 43.4 99.0%. Conclusions Our showed potential we herein more simplified practical use.
