摘要: Since its introduction during the last decade, MALDI mass spectrometry imaging (MSI) is now a routine technique in biology. Nevertheless, missing link exists MSI. Lipids, peptides/proteins, metabolites and drugs can easily be mapped using MALDI-MSI, but this has not yet been used to map transcriptome, which includes microRNA, siRNA other components. This latter field of research one major fields clinical needs explored MALDI-MSI. To investigate novel developed called Tag-Mass spectrometry. The aim review discuss from history place future spectrometric imaging. © 2012 Published by Elsevier GmbH.
