摘要: Abstract We have examined the homology requirements for intermolecular recombination between plasmids introduced into human, monkey, and bacterial cells. Variable-size-deletion derivatives of prokaryotic-eukaryotic shuttle vector pSV2neo were constructed. Each these was mixed with another plasmid containing a different, nonoverlapping deletion. Recombination measured in mammalian cells bacteria by frequency reconstruction an intact neo gene. We observed that 25 base pairs homologous sequence is sufficient to yield recombinant products, implying synapsis pairing can occur this level homology. Examination products revealed nonreciprocal played role generation normal genes. In addition coconversion linked markers observed. Exonucleolytic action seems play gene conversion.
