摘要: Abstract The possibility of using barium (II) to promote spin forbidden transitions is examined. Methanolic solutions both quinoline and naphthalene in the presence perchlorate reveal weak bands their electronic absorption spectra which are assigned lowest triplet←singlet transitions. Barium also found quench fluorescence naphthalene, probably as a result heavy atom effect.
