摘要: Omalizumab, a humanized mAb that binds to the CH3 domain, near binding site for high-affinity type-I IgE Fc receptors of human IgE, can neutralize free and inhibit allergic pathway without sensitizing mast cell basophils. The clinical experience during patient follow-up an omalizumab treated severe persistent asthma with complicated viral infection is introduced. A female (aged 58) asthma, on therapy had laryngeal oedema common cold bacterial sinusitis after injection. Systemic steroids, ketotifen fumarate, antibiotic antihistamines (desloratadine) were given. We did not stop therapy. To our knowledge, this first time association between use has been documented. In fact we do know exact mechanism behind relationship. conclusion suggest Omalizumab five days infections such as sinus infections.
