摘要: Abstract The enteric septicemia of channel catfish, caused by Edwardsiella ictaluri, is one the most severe diseases in catfish worldwide. Currently, a safe and highly effective vaccine urgently needed for control this disease. In study, E. ictaluri ghosts (EIGs) were first generated PhiX174 lysis gene E, hematological indices relative percent survival (RPS) examined (Ictalurus punctatus) after immunization. Generation transformant carrying plasmid pBV-lysisE was enhanced increasing incubation temperature up to 42 °C. Lysis occurred 2 h induction process complete 6 h. efficiency ghost non-lyophilized 99.997%. Additionally, no bacterial growth detected culture on BHI plates lyophilization ghosts. immune response immunized with indicated that number erythrocytes leucocytes reached maximum value 3.53 × 106 5.25 × 105 cell/ml, at day 4 post-immunization, respectively, which both significantly higher than group inoculated PBS only (P  Statement relevance paper, we illustrated generation method immunological responses protection being result paper would be an approach preventing ESC future.
