摘要: Eye and head movements produce large voltages which obscure the electrical activity of brain, interfering with diagnostic procedures. In system method present invention response to such movement artifact is detected by a set electrodes transmitted amplifiers, analog-to-digital converters an on-line digital computer. The computer monitors each 19 channels corresponding on subject's pair located diagonally above below one eye (trans-orbital) detect artifacts associated movement. Each channel brain waves signals, converted into information, are compared threshold selected value operator either using standard values, empirically eliciting sample artifacts, or deviation determination. computer, after determining that there exists artifact, i.e., in excess value, blanks out wave data for period magnetically "marks" appropriate channel(s) multi-channel recording at time distortion, may be all only some channels.
