摘要: A simple theory for Trichel discharges in gases is proposed, which the corona region assumed to be describable terms of a Townsend generation-recombination mechanism, while outer drift deemed subject photoionisation-attachment processes, together with displacement current effects. The pair first-order nonlinear differential equations examined linearising 'small signal' procedure, yielding stability limits, frequency and damping coefficients. numerical treatment full gives development pulse shapes, as well large-signal modifications limits. Good qualitative agreement observation established, especially well-known proportionality between average frequency. An extension stepped-leader phenomena proposed it shown that quite acceptable, even though parameters involved here are different order magnitude when compared discharges.
