摘要: Publisher Summary Antibodies could be labeled with enzymes for use in histochemical staining procedures by enzyme-immunoassay (EIA). The of EIA is an extension previously used serological tests, using enzyme-labeled antibody or antigen to determine content. Direct detection represents a more dramatic departure from previous methods based on culture. Also, the method has enabled infectious agents that are difficult cultivate, such as hepatitis A virus and rotavirus, cannot cultivated, B. tests microbial antigens provides alternative culture means direct identification specific agent. It also detect which have not been successfully propagated. circulating other body fluids than because sensitivity required, interfering substances specimens feces respiratory secretions. For this reason, very few assays specificity required primary diagnostic test. number developed, however, impressive possibilities rapid, diagnosis, interest remains high.
