摘要: A growing evidence indicates that labile methyl groups play an essential role in liver carcinogenesis. depletion of these groups, rats fed a lipotrope-deficient diet causes cancer or enhances carcinogenesis induced by various carcinogens1–3. Liver S-adenosyl-L-methionine (SAM) deficiency has also been demonstrated containing adequate amounts lipotropes and subjected to promoting treatment with phenobarbital (PB)4. Furthermore, consistent fall SAM content the liver, during development microscopic preneoplastic lesions, as well isolated nodules carcinomas, developing initiation/promotion treatments experimental hepatocarcinogenesis, supplemented lipotropic compounds5–9.
