摘要: Low-density lipoprotein receptor-related protein (LRP) plays an important role in regulating proteinase activity, which is necessary for cellular invasive processes. In this study, we investigated the presence of both LRP and urokinase-type plasminogen activator receptor (uPAR) astrocytoma tissues glioma cell lines by PCR immunohistochemical analysis. mRNA was expressed frequently glioblastomas, as compared with low-grade astrocytomas analysis well correlated uPAR expression. These results were consistent localization glioblastomas. Immunohistochemistry on sequential frozen sections showed that neoplastic glial cells endothelial glioblastomas exhibited intense immunoreactivity, whereas almost undetectable normal brain tissues. tissues, immunoreactivity identified pyramidal neurons cerebral cortex. metastatic tumors (metastatic lung adenocarcinomas) primary adenocarcinomas, expression low to undetectable, suggesting regulated differently these than malignant astrocytomas. indicate overexpressed astrocytomas, especially increased appears correlate malignancy Our suggest strongly may play a facilitating glioblastoma invasiveness neovascularization within tumor surface proteolytic activity.
