摘要: Many image display devices can allow only a limited number of colors, called color palette, to be simultaneously displayed. In order have faithful reproduction an image, the associated palette must suitably designed. This paper presents dependent scalar quantization algorithm design effectively. The consists two procedures, bit allocation and recursive binary moment preserving thresholding. experimental results show that reduce computation complexity its output images quality is acceptable human eyes. A rule also deduced under MSE criterion obtain quantizer which has as good performance compared with some other algorithms. addition, adaptive neighborhood-clustering algorithm, searches neighboring indices input pixels iteratively, proposed further improve algorithm.
