摘要: Abstract This paper shows that yeast can be a host for the replication of higher eukaryotic viral genome. Brome mosaic virus (BMV) is member alphavirus-like superfamily animal and plant positive strand RNA viruses. Yeast expressing BMV genes 1a 2a support RNA-dependent transcription RNA3 derivatives. derivatives with coat gene replaced by reporter expressed in fashion dependent on expression trans signals cis. carrying URA3 complemented ura3 − to prototrophy were maintained as persistent episomes. Thus, all cellular factors essential must present yeast, genetics should facilitate their identification.
