摘要: A technique enables improvements in hydraulic fracturing treatments on heterogeneous reservoirs. Based data obtained for a given reservoir, treatment material is used to create complex fractures, which, while interacting with the interfaces and planes of weakness develop fracture connectors, e.g. step- overs, which often grow short distances along these weakness. The further comprises closing or sealing at least one connectors enable reinitiation from truncated branches, subsequently additional connectors. As result, overall becomes more (more branches surface area per unit reservoir volume created), leads an increase effective improved fluid flow through reservoir.
