VELOCITY SELECTIVE OPTICAL PUMPING AND DARK RESONANCES IN SELECTIVE REFLECTION SPECTROSCOPY

摘要: We report an experimental investigation of selective reflection spectra using a bichromatic field with resonant \ensuremath{\Lambda}-type coupling to the ${\mathrm{D}}_{1}$ transition Rb vapor atoms. The are found have more complex structure than equivalent in transmission experiments. This is traced back effect wall collisions on velocity optical pumping and saturation processes. spectral line shapes well described by theoretical model developed text. In addition we observation dark resonances spectroscopy.
