摘要: The Pre-potteryNeolithic A (PPNA) site of Jerf el Ahmar, Syria, dated to the 10th millennium uncal B.P., has produced over 657 flotation samples which are now under study. results described in this article were obtained from analysis 32 charred plant remains taken a room 2.5 × 3 m, had been destroyed by fire. contained three saddle querns, two flat polished stone plates (each 60 cm diameter), one hearth, and limestone "basins". These objects situ appeared represent food preparation area (kitchen). On querns seed cakes found. finely ground seeds have identified as Brassica/Sinapis, rare taxon for period. major taxa, morphologically wild, distinct spatial distributions, provide evidence processing activities. Hordeum spontaneum Triticum/Secale processed separately. association H. with basins suggests soaking grain.
