摘要: SUMMARY The emergence of enterococcal infections in neonatal broiler chickens the poultry industry has become common many countries, including Canada. objective this study was to examine bacterial nonviable chicken embryos three western Canadian hatcheries using matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF MS). pattern embryo mortality that occurred during incubation and breakout analysis results were similar all hatcheries. majority late stage (35.08%), followed by early (15.35%). showed 65.82% swabs had at least one type growth while 34.17% negative for isolation. Of those with growth, 34.3% yielded a mixed population 31.52% growth. frequency isolation ...
