摘要: Abstract Background Plantar fasciitis (PF) is the most common cause of heel pain. A calf stretching (CS) and a plantar fascia-specific (PFSS) are two techniques commonly administered by health care providers. Objective To evaluate literature on application these in treatment PF investigate their effectiveness efficacy. Method search PubMed, Web Sciences, PEDro, CINHAL Scopus was conducted. Studies that applied as co-intervention were excluded. The risk bias assessed to determine internal validity included trials. GRADE approach adopted overall quality. Pooled analysis performed effects CS PFSS terms mean difference visual analog scale pain score. Results Eight articles found represented randomized controlled trial met inclusion criteria. There very low-quality evidence combined less effective short term than other therapies. Comparison between revealed moderate quality for larger effect score reduction over CS, while supported or alone superior sham stretching. Conclusion PF. large comparable Future trials higher needed clarify findings confirm findings.
