摘要: Brakes squeal has remained to be one of the major NVH challenges in brake system design and development. It been a concern for automotive industry decade. Brake researchers have proposed many reduction prevention methods order overcome reduce that emanates from disc systems. In this paper, effectiveness constrained layer dampers (CLD) reducing noise was investigated. CLD isolates through shear deformations viscoelastic materials. Two sets tests were conducted using test dynamometer with application CLD. different types used which are three-layer damper four-layer damper. Squeal carried out rig based on global standard procedure SAE J2521. From test, configuration works more efficient than configuration. made up nitrile butadiene rubber, silicone rubber mild steel proved most effective insulator at hydraulic pressure range 5 bar 30 temperature 50 o C 200 maximum 11.3 dBA. Thus, technique proven an method noise.
