摘要: ABSTRACT Biogas is a fuel which has high potential energy and it produced from the anaerobic degradation of organic material. It can be used for many applications such as heat electrical generation fueling vehicles. Given that reactors landfills are main forms treating domestic solid waste in Brazil, this current article presents five scenario analysis on economic viability combined use biogas these structures generating electricity city Itajuba, Brazil. From point view, best case sanitary landfill sewage treatment station. This resulted an installed power 685 kW, with annual production capable supplying approximately 10% city’s energy. Concerning aspect, option isolated manner, due to shorter distance transport gas, comparison other scenarios. The results demonstrate possibility urban microregions indicating development small cities accomplished within resolutions distributed microgeneration. Such tends increase basic sanitation grows throughout country.
