摘要: Metastatic spread of the primary tumour is responsible for vast majority cancer-related deaths. Detection disseminated cells in bone marrow and circulating peripheral blood correlated with early metastatic relapse breast cancer. Positive detection was associated poor overall survival patients. Current research has been focused on integrating minimal residual disease as a prognostic predictive tool management cells/circulating not yet standardized clinical practice because using different enrichment methods. Therefore, standardization used methods necessary future. Previous achieved findings must be verified larger prospective multicentre studies. Further characterization will essential developing monitoring efficacy new therapeutic concepts. The aim this review to provide short survey cascade cancer stem cell theory, data molecular functional cells. Finally, we discuss potential impact results several recent
