摘要: A 12-month study was carried to assess the seasonal and tidal effects on physical parameters of river groundwater, which constitute major potable water sources in Calabar (Nigeria). The also included an evaluation chemical composition different bodies their relationship. results show that there a significant effect dissolved oxygen (DO) nitrate groundwater one hand, temperature, redox potential (Eh), DO other. Also, influence exists both river-and groundwater. Comparison between statistically difference EC, TDS, Eh, DO, Na, Cl NO3. differences Na are due flushing. Eh is geology area while, NO3 as result anthropogenic pollution. concentrations ions for seasons cycles inverse relationship, while generally more concentrated than Using binary mixing model, estimates degree low, with values 1.93% 2.76% respectively, western eastern parts area. concludes flushing, supply during recharge contribute shaping chemistry
