摘要: The levels and temporal trends of toxic polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins (PCDDs) dibenzofurans (PCDFs) were determined in archived marine mussels collected between 1981 2005 from selected sites along French coasts. geographical distribution PCDD/Fs generally reflect regional inputs these contaminants: the highest concentrations samples Seine river estuary (English Channel) Toulon area (Mediterranean coast); lowest Corsica Sea). PCDD/F isomeric composition showed a fairly homogeneous pattern throughout various sampling sites. This pattern, dominated by 2,3,7,8-TCDF OCDD, can be considered as typical for study species. However, on more local scale, some differences identified relation to source characteristics. time trend pronounced decrease over 24-year period at most sites, except Mediterranean Sea, where was not significant. overall probably reflects general drop emissions Europe since 1980. high recent years (1999, 2001 2005) mouth river.
