摘要: Use of multimedia models (MMMs) has been limited in exposure assessment for aquatic ecosystems at local scale typically due to their coarse spatial resolution and inability predict the individual concentrations multiple streams within a watershed cell. An MMM named ECORAME is presented which overcomes limitations by treating each water segment as an independent cell rather than compartment This offers two advantages assessment, i.e., i) readily adjustable ii) one could be handled individually. Model evaluation with respect polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) demonstrated that ECORAME's prediction relative concentration agreed measured values factor five or less. A case study PAHs using shows can change more 10 fold over 40km main stream stretch Han River Seoul, Korea. The difference among same substantial (greater 100 fold). Besides need finer resolutons those used MMMs, results strongly suggest capability necessary assessment. As demostrated ECORAME, effectively met handling segments cells future MMMs.
