摘要: While ultracold matter brought quantum effects onto the macroscopic scale, ultrafast lasers made dynamical phenomena observable in real-time. Bringing two together seems natural and holds promise of employing interferences an unprecedented way. Photoassociation provides optimal framework for merger since principle it relies only on presence optical transitions. Combining with coherent control where potential energy surfaces governing dynamics can be 'shaped', a general route toward stable molecules is obtained.
